Minda Bal Gram, a unit of Moga Devi Minda Charitable Trust (Regd.) has been working towards the all round development of the children in difficult circumstances since 2001. The unit has a residential setup where 93 children presently are being catered to. It is a sincere effort to build the future of the children in need of care & protection through education, recreation and vocational training. Presently we are looking for an energetic person as Female Residential Counsellor under the following criteria:

1. The position is purely contractual and residential in nature.
2. Age should be between 35 -40 yrs.
3. Should be having Master Degree in Clinical / Applied Psychology.
4. Willing to work with under-privileged children in the age group of 5-18 yrs.
5. Good communication and writing skill in Hindi and English necessary.
6. Possess a positive attitude towards the development of the children in need of care & protection.
7. Able to provide counselling support, psychological testing etc.
8. Should be having minimum 2 /3 years of working experience in this field.
9. Computer knowledge (Ms-Office & Internet) is desirable.

Responsibilities:

1. Stay along with the older girls in the residential setup.
2. To guide the warden / housemothers in their day to day activities.
3. Provide counselling support to all children as per requirement.
4. Take children for medical checkup and psychological testing as required.
5. To be prepared for any emergency duty that may arise.
6. Conduct training for warden / housemothers on child related issues.
7. Maintain various registers in the unit.
8. Work in coordination with other staff in the unit.
9. Plan out various other activities for the children and arrange accordingly.
10. Any other work assigned from time to time.

Please note that lodging and food arrangement would be provided at the unit as per the set norms. Lodging arrangement is allowed for sef only and family accommodation is not provided.
